Tuesday 24th February 2015 – Midday
It’s a fresh, breezy day with occasional slight showers of rain and sleet. Only very fleeting glimpses of the sun. Outside of the showers the visibility is good so it’s not a bad day for a walk provided you are well clad and well shod. It’s very wet underfoot and the paths that are susceptible to mud are very muddy!
There’s still the odd patch of snow above about 300 metres but not enough to be any problem.
Spring isn’t too far away now!
